"...And so to weave my tale,
Of concubines so pale..."
Allow me to briefly introduce myself and my troupe of misanthropic musicians by directing you to the following link.
October is nearly upon us and I am quite sure that my compatriots and I are not the only people who have been pining for this particular month. Halloween holds a great significance for us here at Ethereal Blood. It is with all the pride of Lucifer that I announce our first album release is scheduled to come forth from the shadows on All Hallows Eve! It has been four years since we first endeavored to record our music independently and we are anxious to the point of ejaculating for thy Lycanthrope and Lamia to hold it in thy filthy hands.
The aptly titled Cold Crypt Sonatas Vol. I is a seven track E.P. consisting of our favorite original recordings we have produced since its inception in 2009 and as such is more accurately a compilation album, although it is our first attempt at a release. All the original compositions carry the prevailing motif of vampirism, witchcraft, demonology, and conquering the grave. The CD will be available as a digital download and a physical copy. Links for the digital download via iTunes shall abound come Halloween. The physical copy is a deluxe edition containing two additional tracks, a jewel case, and a full color twelve page booklet. It will be available in our web store The Sepulchre.
The Ethereal Blood Sanguinary Symphony is an independent act to the fullest extent of the term. All music, lyrics, sequencing, recording, mixing, and mastering is done by us exclusively. Even the album artwork and this very website are crepuscular creations of yours truly. Yet still there are those for whose help I am forever indebted. Firstly the venerable "Lord of Logos" Christophe Szpajdel who designed our insignia in addition to other great bands like Emperor. See some of his mastery here;
I am also indebted to our good friend Kassandra King. All photograpy credit goes to her. You can see her work in our gallery. Lastly, to all of my fellow musicians past, present, and future who contributed to our writing process and all of the great musicians that have inspired us over the years.
We will spend the next month hammering out the promotional details of the CD as well as trying out new musicians to get our live performance back in action. I will attempt to update this blog on a monthly basis. Until then...
Thine in night eternal,
