"...Pleading to a God that never stifled out my pain, I soon evoked a Devil in the cold November rain..."
A happy belated Halloween to everybody reading this post! October was a very busy month for Ethereal Blood, the greatest achievement being the release of our miniature LP
Cold Crypt Sonatas Vol. I. We can not even begin to describe how rewarding a feeling it is to finally hold a tangible item in our frigid hands or how orgasmic an affect it brings to begin peddling our labors to all those who would have it. The album is available on iTunes for download and from our web store, "The Sepulchre" for those among you who still prefer physical compact discs. Also available are black T-shirts with the Ethereal Blood insignia in red disgracing the front side in S, M, L, and XL sizes. More extra large sizes will be included in our next batch. Both the album and the accompanying shirt can be purchased from any of our live performances as well while supplies last. In the spirit of a very American November, 1 inch campaign buttons are being pushed around at our local shows. Ethereal Blood for congress anybody? Aside from the album's debut, we also preoccupied ourselves with perpetual rehearsals, two live performances, and the possible indoctrination of a new drummer into our coven. The first show was at Sandwich Fall Fest "After Dark" and did not go exactly according to plan. Bitter cold weather, reoccurring venue equipment failure, and a less than desirable audience turn out saw us playing sub par and shortening our set list. The following week was a thankfully redemptive experience where we had a grand time entertaining for The Tin Roof's Halloween bash. What a sinful Samhain that was! We have some footage from that which will be posted soon as well. I must warn you that because of the recording device, room acoustics, and sheer decibel level the audio is near indecipherable though. Hahaha! Our plans for November are to continue with our general regiment of writing, rehearsing, and performing. We have another photography session with the wonderful Kassandra King and a lot of unhallowed ground to cover with our prospective percussionist but rest assured that thy beloved lord of lycanthropic lyrics and vivacious vampyre vocals will keep informed via the various social media outlets.
