Time to start performing again!
Hello again to all my rancorous readers.
It's time again for some news regarding the cacophonous quartet that is Ethereal Blood. It's October first and as we have been burning the midnight oil for this whole last month and will most likely continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Halloween is right around the corner and all of the things I prophesied in last month's bloody blog are coming to fruition. I often feel like an expectant mother, all be it a very unattractive one.
The main highlight will be the release of our Cold Crypt Sonatas Vol. I EP. Much to my disdain it won't be available internationally until the middle of November but it will be being sold locally, at performances, on iTunes, and streaming eternally. Which brings me to my next point. We will be playing at Fall Fest 2014 on October 25th as headliners. The show will start between 9:00 P.M. and 9:30 P.M. at The Sandwich Fair Grounds. Admittance is free and there will be other bands spanning different genres and other seasonal activities during the day.We will be performing an hour long set list in which theatricality and sinister showmanship will abound. Make sure you visit our merchandise booth after the show to buy a CD or t-shirt. Ask for a business card if you would like to book Ethereal Blood for future events.
Aside from the obvious tasks of rehearsing and writing new music, a fair amount of time has been spent trying out new musicians for our live and studio needs. We are currently looking for drummers, keyboardists, classically styled operatic singers (male and female), violinists, violists, cellists etc. The only requirements are that you be proficient at your instrument and live in the northern portion of Illinois.
It is also becoming common place with us to pursue new ways of putting on a more visually captivating performance. Thusly I wish to present you a glimpse of my new microphone stand that is still a work in progress...

Guitarist Nephilim and myself have been laboring on this and other abominations and the finished product will surely be a malicious marvel of eccentric ingenuity.
Happy Halloween my loves! Like secret desires thou shalt not be far from my mind...
